Want to make something interesting in metal, but not sure where to start? This Maker Experience is a great opportunity to get creative, learn some new tools and technology, and make something meaningful – with no prior experience necessary!
A great project for makers from ages 16 and up.
Workshop limited to 4 students
Two day workshop:
6 – 8 pm – Friday, 11/11 design & laser
1 pm – 3 pm – Saturday, 11/12 plasma cutting & welding
This class will introduce you to the:
Laser cutter
Plasma cutter
MIG welder
Metal shear
Various hand tools
and lots of basic techniques you can use to build TONS of cool stuff in metal.
This class has two session of training and includes materials, plus an extra visit to complete your project if you need extra time.
