Saturday Community Food Distribution

Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina will host a Saturday Community Food Distribution on July 16, 2022, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, or until all food has been distributed. This distribution will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 134 S. Peace Haven Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104. No documentation is needed, but you will be asked to provide some basic information to determine USDA eligibility for some of the food items being offered. If someone will be picking food up on your behalf, you will need to know whether that person receives food stamps. If the answer is no, the pickup person will need to know the number in the person’s household and the gross weekly or monthly household income as we will be distributing some TEFAP items (government-funded commodities) at this distribution. All COVID-19 safety rules and guidelines will be enforced. Social distancing will be enforced. No one will be allowed to get out of their vehicles. Our volunteers will load your vehicle. Please make sure there is plenty of empty space in your vehicle for the food.
