Join us on the first Saturday of every month, starting in January and ending in May, for Fur-st Saturdays at the Greensboro Science Center!
Come to the GSC on Saturday, January 7 from 10 – 2 pm for the start of our Fur-st Saturdays series! Guilford County Animal Services will be on-site hosting an adoption event in the SAIL Center, so if you’re looking to give a fur-ever home to a furry friend, here’s your chance! In addition to the adoption event, Guilford County Animal Services will be providing a free rabies clinic in our front entrance circle for your cats and dogs. While animals are allowed at the free rabies clinic, they are not allowed inside of the GSC.
The City of Greensboro Waste Reduction and Recycling will be on-site demonstrating ways to reduce your waste when purchasing for your pets! They’ll also be able to share all the do’s and don’ts of recycling pet-related items. And Water Resources will also be on site talking about proper wet waste disposal!
Fur-st Saturdays activities are free to the public. Admission to the GSC is not included in the event.
