Forsyth County Government and Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County will host the seventh annual Summer Parks Concert Series at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons and Triad Park in Kernersville. ENVISION will take the stage at Tanglewood Park on July 24.
Founded in 1997 by Michael Thomas (Male Vocalist), ENVISION also consists of four women vocalists – Sylvania Wilder, Michelle Scales, Iris Daye, and Charlene Legette.
The instrumentation of the backing band consists of Leroy Roberson (Musical Director) on Bass, Herb Stephens on Guitar, Vincent Crenshaw on Keyboards, and Matthew Parrish on Drums. The horn section consists of C. Michael Hinson (Trombone), James Armstrong (Trumpet), and Chris Evernham (Saxophone).
ENVISION’s set list includes music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and leading up to the present day. Their performance genres include R&B, Beach, Motown/Oldies, Pop, Dance, Funk, and Jazz.
ENVISION has performed as opening acts for celebrities such as Jordan Sparks, The S.O.S. Band, Kem and Marsha Ambrosius, and Tom Joyner.
During the concert guests will be able to visit tents that have free art activities for kids sponsored by Publix Charities. Vendors and food trucks will also be at all Summer Parks Concert Series concerts.

Series partners include Publix Super Markets Charities, Best of Winston, WFDD, WSNC, WTOB, YES! Weekly, RH Barringer, and Raffaldini Vineyards.
Concerts and parking at both parks are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and may bring a picnic or patronize food trucks onsite. Refreshments such as water, beer and wine are available with all proceeds supporting Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County. No outside alcohol is permitted.
