Salem Band Alumni Concert– celebrating everyone who was a part of this historic band. All Salem Band alumni and their families will be recognized. Music from Sound of Music, big bands, soloists Mignon Dobbins and Jeff Whitsett, and ending with a bang, 1812 Overture. Pre-concert music by the Salem Band Tuba Quartet. All concerts FREE in Salem Square, Old Salem. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food vendors on site. Established in 1771, Salem Band is the oldest, continuous mixed wind ensemble in the nation.
