Maker Training: Intro to the Woodshop

This is a maker training session for Mixxer members and soon-to-be Mixxer members! You will learn how to safely use many of the tools in MIXXER’s Wood Studio including:

Miter Saw AKA Chop Saw
Planer
Jointer
Table Saw

To learn specific tools in the woodshop, email workshops@wsmixxer.org.

Members, you are strongly encouraged to bring YOUR wood projects for a better learning and making experience.

Maker Training sessions are free for members and low cost for those curious about Mixxer membership.

Beginners Welcome!

IMPORTANT: Be sure to wear and boots or close toed shoes. We’ll provide the rest of the safety gear you’ll need.
