This is an introductory experience into making (forging or smithing) metal jewelry. No experience needed.  You’ll go home with 2 completed pairs of hand hammered brass earrings and an introduction to working with brass using tools and fire and complete your creation with beads and jewelry findings . We will learn and practice using Butane torches to anneal your brass, hammers to texturize them and smooth the edges to finish them for ultimate comfort so that they are ready to wear or gift! Attendees will take home their bracelets along with some info on caring for their handmade wearable metal works of art. 

Beginners Welcome! IMPORTANT:  Be sure to wear natural materials (no spandex, nylon, etc.) and long pants that cover your boots or close toed shoes. We’ll provide the rest of the safety gear you’ll need.
