Have you always wanted to try your hand at wood carving or whittling? In this maker experience, you will get an introduction to wood carving . Makers will learn to cut out shapes on the electric scroll saw or bandsaw, then use a carving knife to shape and carve the details!
You will learn to make a snowman, heart or other wintery adornment! Take your shape home to be sanded, painted or wood burned. These wintery items make nice holiday ornaments, magnets or gift tags!
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:
Be sure to wear and boots or close toed shoes. We’ll provide the rest of the safety gear you’ll need.
Please bring your own cut resistant gloves if you have them.
