Innovation & Cinema returns to beautiful Bailey Park’s lower lawn for a magnetic season of films about science, technology, engineering and mathematics presented by a/perture cinema.
Make your way to the smokestacks to revel in these award-winning movies that also exemplify the importance of representation and diversity in entertainment, both in front and behind the camera.

June 10: Queen of Katwe

In this movie, a Ugandan girl sees her world rapidly change after being introduced to the game of chess. Starring Madina Nalwanga, David Oyelowo, Lupita Nyong’o.
