About

Join us at Piedmont Craftsmen’s Gallery Tuesday, June 28th at 6PM for
A Frit Glass Painting Demo with Betti Pettinati-Longinotti.
What is Frit? Frit is ground glass that comes in a variety of gradients- from fine powders to coarse granules- which are mixed with a medium and applied directly on glass. Betti Pettanati-Longinotti will show us how she paints on glass using frit to create glittering, textured images before fusing the work in a kiln.

Betti’s work has been shown nationally, & internationally. Her spirituality is evident within the portfolio of her inspired work. She has had commissions & collaborations in all facets of Architectural glass: ecclesiastical, commercial, public art and residential.
