Julie Kurland from Penguin Random House Publishing will be recommending a variety of books from different genres that are perfect for book club reads. Previous Bookmarks Festival author Tiphanie Yanique is returning to Bookmarks to talk about her latest novel, Monster in the Middle. She will be in conversation with Valencia Taylor, from the Bookmarks Well-Read Black Girl Book club and will be signing books following the event.
Tickets are $5 and include a tote bag with books plus desserts and wine. Attendees will receive the book club discount on all books recommended at the event as well as all books by the featured author.
Please note the bookstore will be closing at 5 pm for this event.
Masks are welcome and encouraged.
