Join us as we explore the textiles and techniques used to make clothing around the world! Offered in conjunction with the exhibit New at the Lam: Recent Acquisitions, which features clothing from Saudi Arabia, Albania, and Mexico, this event will feature crafts and hands-on opportunities for all ages. Crafts will include bark cloth painting, Adinkra stamping, weaving, making embossed tin pendants, decorating paper dolls, and learning more about the different types of textiles used to make clothing through activities and games. Visitors are invited to wear clothing that has cultural meaning to them. Admission is free.
