SECCA is excited to host this community event in partnership with Steady Hyperactive, a Winston-Salem based multimedia collective. The Juneteenth Jubilee is a celebration of Black creativity and will feature musical performances, art experiences, small businesses, food vendors & more. This year’s Juneteenth Jubilee will feature special guest Vitus Shell. He will be participating in a panel discussion with regional artists, leading a tour of his exhibition, Vitus Shell: ‘Bout It ‘Bout It, The Political Power of Just Being, and conducting a portrait photography session to collect images for use in future artworks.

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Afternoon Performances (Ticket Required)
4:45 PM – 5:30 PM: Artist Panel Discussion (Free)
5:45 PM – 7:00 PM: Tour & Portrait Session (Free)
6:45 PM – 9:00 PM: Evening Performances (Ticket Required)
*Tickets grant access to both the Afternoon and Evening Performances. Tickets are not required for the Panel Discussion, Tour, or Portrait Session.

LOOKING FOR: African American | All Shapes & Sizes | Male, Female, Non-Binary | Aged 18 – 35
DRESS: Your personal definition of Stylish, Dapper or Urban. Bring a change of clothes if you desire
DURATION: Each session will last approximately 15 minutes
