In this maker experience, you will choose and take fabric to create your own tote bag. You will gain or improve your sewing machine skills with Lara of Seamstress at the Circ Desk!
Using recovered denim and upholstery from local markets, participants will get to choose their fabric combos and make a very handy tote for yourself or a friend!
You will make a 14-in x 22-in x 6-in tote, which large enough to carry a laptop and other items, or a picnic blanket to your favorite spot for a getaway. Or, Lara’s favorite, a great tote to take to the library to get all the books on things you’d like to learn about!
Sewing machines and other sewing accessories will also be provided.
