Design in Fashion

M-F 9am-12pm
Students unleash their creativity as they learn the fashion design process in this week-long camp! They will gain experience in designing, basic sewing, pattern making, textile design, culminating in a final outfit. By the end of the week, students will have experienced the whole fashion design process just as a real fashion designer!
¡Los estudiantes dan rienda suelta a su creatividad mientras aprenden el proceso de diseño de moda en este campamento de una semana! Adquirirán experiencia en diseño, costura básica, patronaje, diseño textil, culminando con un atuendo final. ¡Al final de la semana, los estudiantes habrán experimentado todo el proceso de diseño de moda como un verdadero diseñador de moda!
This year Mixxer is dedicated to offering Equitable Access to STEAM Experiences for students. Put simply, the term “Equitable Access” refers to the notion that every student should have the same opportunity as any other student for being taught by a great teacher in a great program. Our Equitable Access Initiative provides each student with lunch every day of camp, all supplies needed, and low-cost tuition.
