Piedmont Jazz Alliance invites you to join us for Book Talk with author Aidan Levy discussing his recent book, “Saxophone Colossus: The Life and Music of Sonny Rollins,” Friday, February 24.
The long-awaited, comprehensive biography of more than 200 interviews with Rollins and his family, friends, and collaborators explores the largely untold story of one of jazz’s most acclaimed and celebrated musicians. Aidan will present photographs and recordings from Rollins’ archives, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
