As cold weather arrives, cozy up for SECCA’s 2nd annual Southern Idiom holiday art sale! With more than 50 works of art by Winston-Salem artists alongside fresh new SECCA apparel and paper goods, our holiday shop offers something for everyone.
The art sale opens Saturday, December 10, with a special holiday party featuring cookies, coffee and seasonal snacks from 1–4pm in the historic Hanes House at SECCA. The holiday art sale will remain open during regular museum hours through Saturday, December 31. Join us and wrap up your holiday shopping at your favorite contemporary art museum.
A wide array of fantastic works of art will be for sale, installed in the Community Gallery (in SECCA’s lobby) and Preview Gallery (in the historic Hanes House). Participating artists include Kevin Calhoun, Emily Clare, Owens Daniels, Terri Dowell-Dennis, Aimée García, Sharon Hardin, Taylor Hayes, Alix Hitchcock, Ashley Johnson, Carlos Montes de Oca, Travis Phillips, Jaeson Pitt, Jessica Singerman, Cindy Taplin, Nicole Uzzell, Will Willner, and Mona Wu.
