Our mission is to enrich our community by promoting the compassionate treatment of cats and dogs. Forsyth Humane Society has set a goal of increasing the save rate of shelter dogs and cats from 36% in 2017 to 90% by 2023.
ADOPT – We maintain an adoption center where dogs and cats are cared for while they wait for their forever homes.
EDUCATE – We are committed to preventing pet overpopulation by educating the public about responsible pet ownership, and about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.
LOVE – Above all, we love animals. Our programs are dedicated to providing for their welfare and improving their lives.
