Tacoma Park is the collaboration of John Harrison (Jphono1, Lacy Jags, North Elementary) and Ben Felton (Pegasus, Blood Revenge, Jett Rink).
By building single note drones, looping open-tuned electric guitars, and framing improvisations around skeletal chord progressions, Tacoma Park aims to create synthetic internal soundscapes with the intention of temporarily modifying the physical space they’re in. Basically, they play between one and three notes for an entire set; rhythms and melodies happen here and there.
