We are reminded of all the ways we connect with one another–audiences to performers, learners to educators, innovators to funders, individuals to organizations–and are excited to share and celebrate the good work of others. The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation has announced a new grantmaking framework that includes two arts-focused initiatives and we can’t wait to see the impact these funds have on North Carolina artists and communities.
- Inclusive Public Art (Letters of Intent due October 8, 2018 by 12:00pm Eastern, grants up to $50,000)
“The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation believes that art can open the door to conversation. Our investment in inclusive public art is intended to share stories of diversity, equality, inclusion and equity as they relate to the people and places of North Carolina, especially those whose stories are often untold.” -Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation
- All for NC Fellowship (planned Dec 2018 application open, $75,000 stipend)
“We believe our All For NC Fellows should reflect the rich diversity of North Carolina; therefore, we encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ persons, and immigrants to apply.” -Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation
