The band, already making a name for itself...the album, which stands out for its clean sound...it's a solid debut... ”
Billboard-charting artists Cane Mill Road grew up just down the road from Doc Watson in Deep Gap, North Carolina. Honoring the past the band strikes a balance between preserving the bluegrass mountain sound they were raised on and boldly rocking progressive interpretations of that same sound tackling not only complex original music, but classic covers of the Beatles, Dylan, and more.

Australian Singer/songwriter Rick Price has walked the journey many musicians dreams are made of. From the very beginning, as a nine year old and the youngest member of his family’s band. Music was Price’s Passion.
Since those humble yet defining days, set amongst the backdrop of country Queensland. The self taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning more than three decades.
In the 90’s very few southern hemisphere radio stations would go a day without a Rick Price song on high rotation from his broad repertoire of eight albums. Price has been nominated for and received numerous music industry awards including the prestigious APRA Song Of The Year award for his song “Heaven Knows” and the Export Music Australia award for his outstanding achievements abroad.
Rick’s album recorded in New York City and released in September 2011, ‘The Water’s Edge’, showcased new influences and a broader style for Price. While there are still echoes of a great pop artist, country rhythm and blues meld beautifully with folk sounds to create an album that transcends genre. Rick has toured this album extensively for the last few years and broken new ground with audiences and concert halls all over the globe.
In Australia , Asia and the U.S. Rick has branched out into the festival market. Performing at the ‘Gympie Muster’, ‘Queensland Festival’, ‘Guthrie Green Festival’ (USA) ‘Wingham Akoostic Festival’, ‘Sydney Blues Festival’, ‘Bridgetown Blues Festival’, and returned for a second time to the ‘Thredbo Blues Festival’ in 2015. He is clearly the consummate solo performer.
Finishing off 2014 with a tour of Europe with long time friend Tommy Emmanuel sealed relationships with European promoters for a Rick Price solo tour in 2015.
A multi-instrumentalist, Price continues to write and produce for numerous fellow artists. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed his most recent album 'Tennessee Sky' released in July 2015.
